My Approach to Business Operations and Growth
My faith shapes everything I do. I believe a true leader is one who serves first, who listens and responds to real needs. That's how I'm wired. That's how I solve problems. And that's how I run my business and help my clients.
I'm genuinely fulfilled when I'm solving problems for people. My family is deeply important to me, and outside work I've fallen in love with golf. Those things keep me grounded and remind me what matters. But at my core, I'm a problem solver. It's how I was created. It's how I serve.
Why I Started Selah Systems
I founded Selah Systems because most business consultants overcomplicate things. They sell you solutions you don't need and call it expertise. But small business owners don't need hype. They need clarity and honest help with their operational systems and business growth.
My Experience Building Operational Systems
I learned this as Administrative Director at my dad's concrete business in Arizona. My mentor Rocky Geans recommended me for the role, not because I'm his daughter, but because he saw I think in systems. At the business, I found operations drowning in analog work. Schedules scattered across multiple places. Processes that weren't consistent. Handoffs between teams that fell apart. No visibility into project finances. We'd find out months later if we'd lost money on a job. I implemented real-time budget tracking so we know profitability as projects move along.
So I built an operational system from scratch. Mapped workflows, clarified roles, documented processes, created tools everyone actually used. I also implemented AI automation that handles repetitive tasks, saving our team hours each week. Now they're freed up to focus on the work they're actually gifted at instead of being buried in manual administration.
The shift was real. The business went from reactive and chaotic to organized and intentional. Time freed up. Processes became predictable. People wanted to use the systems because they made their jobs easier. And the business scaled without adding chaos.
If I could do this for my family's business, I can help other small business owners who feel stuck do the same.
My Philosophy
Selah means to pause and reflect. That's what businesses need before they scale.
I don't jump in and fight fires that don't exist. I sit down, listen to your situation, diagnose what's really happening, and then we build a strategy together. No hype. No unnecessary complexity. No tools or services just to pad the bill.
What Makes Me Different
A lot of consultants oversell and overcomplicate. They push trendy tools and fancy frameworks to sound more technical. You already know your business better than anyone. You already know what your pain points are. You just need someone honest enough to listen, validate that, and help you solve it.
I approach every client with a few core principles:
- Integrity: I won't suggest a tool or service that won't actually help you just because I can make more money off it. If I can't help you, I'll tell you.
- Diagnostic First: I diagnose your real situation before we implement anything.
- Biblically Aligned: I draw on biblical wisdom and principles from across Scripture to inform how I approach problem-solving and strategy for business owners.
My Ideal Client
You're someone who wants to work smarter, not add complexity. You want to be in the driver's seat of your business, not drowning in admin. And you're willing to do the work to actually change things. If that's you, I can help.
